Also, I don't like the way delivery guys move these screen around as half of them just don't care it's an LCD monitor.However, the replacement screen was well up to scratch. It looks very nice and appealling to the eye. I hooked it up to my TV and PS3 and computer. It truly gives outstanding images I mean the colours are very nice and realistic. I must point out that out of the box the brightness and colours need adjusting. I took the brightness down to 0% and changed the red, green and blue respectively in user mode to 100, 91, 93 so now it was a well calibrated screen. The colours look better and it is now more suited to movies. I played a few games on it and in my personal view it is a very good screen, okay moay not be as good as a TN 1-2ms screen but I couldn't notice that much ghosting. This monitor had more functionality than the Asus and supposedly a better panel, so for the extra �20 odd I decided to take a chance. And thanks goodness for that, not only was the screen better than expected but the picture quality is amazing, and the colours hardly change across viewing angles (I have this on a swivel arm and watch movies in bed sometimes). I believe BenQ has Asus beat when it comes to the 27" multi purpose monitors. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 star is the resolution, max 1900x1080, on a 27" it's just too little, I have to sit a fair bit further away from the monitor now, but for the price I don't... The colours from the MVA type screen are brilliant. resolution at 1920 x 1080 is a bit low for this size of monitor but you would need to pay twice as much for a monitor with higher res. Game play is good. the 8ms response time is ok for FPS games I play (AVA).I don't notice any ghosting buta little blurring when moving fast but that is to be expected with a MVA screen. If you are a hard core FPS gamer you would want a TN screen anyway. When playinmg flight sms teh scenery comes alive with the colours, no issues with lag or response for this type of game.
